STORYLINE: Soon-ae got
involved in a top-secret mission when she mistakenly took
Yoo-il's pen after giving him a traffic ticket. To keep his
identity confidential, he tried to retrieve the pen but unfortunately,
Soon-ae misplaced it. Since the pen contains classified information,
a lot of underground organizations are battling over it. But
Yoo-il and Soon-ae are desperate to find the pen before anybody
else.
Yoo-il was able to get possession of the pen after a series
of mishaps. When he found out it's worth, he decided not to
surrender it to the ones who hired him. Not only did he put
his life in danger, but also managed to make himself suspicious
in the eyes of Capt. Kang, Special Investigations leader.
Soon-ae was chosen to be part of Capt. Kang's team. She was
first overwhelmed with the promotion but when she learned
that it involves the cause of his husband's death, she got
terrified of knowing the truth. What made the issue more complicated
is the possible connection of Yoo-il to the case. She got
caught in between being a police officer and as Yoo-il's spy
partner, "Koala".

SPOILER ALERT :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Since Soon-ae doesn't really know Yoo-il's true identity,
she was brainwashed into thinking that he is the key to their
mission. So when she was offered to stay at Yoo-il's, she
used it as a way to go around his business. But behind all
the suspicions, they still became closer than they expected
and fell in love.
With all the information they found, a lot of big names in
the business and politics came out. As the team tried to unveil
the truth, their profession and lives were put in jeopardy.
Capt. Kang has to give up his place to stand by his belief.
Surprisingly, the investigation was closed unresolved because
of a traitor in the team.
Just as Yoo-il is about to start anew with Soon-ae, the Special
Investigations team found out his involvement to the case.
He tried to escape but was shot and fell into the ocean. His
body was never found which gave Soon-ae enough reason to hope
that he is alive. Soon-ae carried on with her life still thinking
of Yoo-il. Her waiting came to an end when she got a phone
call from "sam-shik".
REVIEWS: It started
out to be an interesting drama. What's remarkable is how a
pen could create such impact. Then the intensity subsided
when a lot of people got involved. The more it got complicated
and confusing, the less appealing it has become. But I think,
the misunderstanding on who's who was hilarious.
What really made me watch this series is DENNIS O! Since
Daniel Henney was a big hit in MNIKSS, I think this is one
of the reasons why the network decided to include another
halfie
and it wasn't a bad move. I bet a lot of people
were drawn to this drama because of Dennis, just like me.
But on the latter part of the story, I started to like Joo-hyun
better. As I look at him, he became more and more gorgeous.
He is so rugged and manly. His physique started to grow in
me. And his character as caring and gentleman really adds
up to his points. Dennis is undeniably good looking but Joo-hyun
has the package.
Nam Sang-mi definitely was given a break here. I've already
watched two of her movies (She's on Duty, Spy Girl - she really
has this thing with spies, huh?) but didn't get to notice
her beauty and talent not until now. It was kind of long overdue
but being paired to a rising halfie star made her featured
drama a success.
