SYNOPSIS: Despite Mu-hyeok's continuous struggle to live longer due to the inoperable bullets stuck into his head, he still cries for revenge. He went back to Korea to find his biological mother who abandoned him at a young age. Little does he know, what he thought of his mother and the reason for being seperated from her is the opposite of what really happened. As he searches for the truth, he fell in love with Eun-chae, who is deeply devoted to his brother, Yune. They became rivals not only for his mother's love but also in winning Eun-chae's heart. He eventually found happiness after long years of bitterness but has to give it up because of his condition. For him, what only matters is the love and truth he was deprived of.

REVIEWS: Having to see a hardcore drama like this makes you wonder, where do these people get their strength to surpass such life? The idea of the series is to make the viewers feel for the characters. And it worked for me, big time! No wonder So Ji-seop won an award for his believable portrayal. He definitely could carry his character. At one point, you'll hate his cockiness but once you get his character, you'll pity him for the life he got into. Although the conclusion made me cry, I wished for a better way to end it. A little bit of happiness would be fine to give you a breather. To watch this full length series crying all the way is too heavy to bear. But, hey! I made it through - after 3 boxes of tissue each episode!
