SYNOPSIS: Being the 38th
granddaughter of her clan, Soo-ah was given the responsibility
to take care of the ancestral manor, Hwa Ahn Dang. Although
the Hwang family is interested in buying the place, she wouldn't
easily give in for she believes that memories are much important
than money.
Soo-ah got a job as an intern with Dong-kyu's help despite
her ill feelings towards him. Eventually, even if their families
are mortal enemies of the past because of what Dong-kyu's
grandfather did to Soo-ah's, they ended up falling for each
other. But his grandfather's pride and the elder's traditional
values came in between their love.
Dong-kyu's grandfather is desperate to buy Hwa Ahn Dang so
he promised a generous inheritance to both Dong-kyu and his
cousin Chan-min to whoever could make Soo-ah fall in love
with. Eventhough Dong-kyu's is sincere, Chan-min took advantage
of the anger Soo-ah felt after finding out about the agreement.
Chan-min tried to help Soo-ah re-establish the manor with
a hidden agenda and framed up his own cousin to deceive Soo-ah.
REVIEWS: It wasn't as bad
as what I heard from others (but not as good as My Girl).
Da-hae really knows her craft. She actually has chemistry
with Ji-hoon. When they have these fights, her being childish
comes out. They look cute and funny together.
The story is nice too. Not too dramatic, not too light. There
are actually a lot of cute scenes. Although Mi-joo's character
is boring - seems like she has a world of her won - I still
enjoyed watching the series. Lengthy flash backs are a little
bit annoying though but I could live with it.
