STORYLINE: It was a love
at first sight romance for Ji-seok and Mi-yeon. But when they
found out that they are blood related, they decided to repress
their feelings. After realizing that fate keeps on allowing
them to meet unexpectedly, they finally gave in to what they
feel and think is right at the moment. Everything turned out
okay until Ji-seok has to marry Jung-ran for financial reasons
and left Mi-yeon broken hearted.
Years passed, Mi-yeon got married to Tae-hoon who became
her strength during her misery. She may look like she already
forgotten her first love but deep inside, she is still hoping
for explanations and closure.

SPOILER ALERT :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Ji-seok came back to Korea with his wife to pursue a career
in teaching. He tried to look for Mi-yeon out of guilt and
regrets only to find out that she has already moved on without
him. Things got more complicated when he was diagnosed to
have pancreatic cancer. As much as he wanted to spend his
remaining days with Mi-yeon, it is now impossible.
When Mi-yeon was told about Ji-seok's health condition, she
tried to be with him no matter what other people might think.
Given the chance to be together again, they are more than
willing to fight for their love until the end.
REVIEWS: I was so excited
to hear that Kim Ha-neul will be starring in a series because
I am a fan. I am very impressed of her past performances.
And from the title alone, I know this would turn out to be
one heck of a drama. But I guess not.
I thought I will be all teary eyed but I think I expected
too much from it. The problem with giving out the climax at
the beginning, it tends to drag all the way. Everything seemed
to be redundant, going back and forth. It's annoying how,
at one scene, they want to be together, and the next, they
push each other away, then be together. You really don't know
what they want.
But they recovered at the end. All those dragging moments
and waiting for something special paid off. From acting to
the storyline, things gone better. It was worth the while.
Although I got bored half the time, I still enjoyed watching
Kang Ji-hwan and Kim Ha-neul. They even made me cry in the
last 5 episodes.
Just a thought
did you realize that the "moral
issue" of the story was overshadowed by the fact that
one of the characters is dying? So the "forbidden"
relationship was allowed and acceptable just because of a
dying man's wish?
