SYNOPSIS: After Hye-chan
had a car accident, she lost 11 years of her memories. She
acts like she's 18 again and doesn't remember anything that
happened the next years - even her marriage to Sang-young.
Sang-young and Hye-chan were childhood couple. They've known
and loved each other since high school. But right after they
got married, Hye-chan's love developed into disgust and hatred.
When Sang-young became a well-known actor, his name was linked
to different women including his costar, Ji-young. He maybe
loyal to his wife, but rumors get nasty. Things got more complicated
when Hye-chan met a young student, Noon, after the accident.
He is frank of his feelings towards her despite of age difference
and marital status.
It could be a blessing in disguise that Hye-chan doesn't
remember the past. But for Sang-young, reminding her of the
happy moments they once shared would always be a challenge.
He almost gave up his projects just to be supportive of his
wife as she struggles to find herself. But no matter how hard
he tries, Hye-chan seems to resent the fact that once, they
were in love.
Will Hye-chan ever see Sang-young's sincerity and sacrifices?
REVIEWS: We can say
that everything in the story were already used by other series
as a plot but the way it was conveyed in 18 vs 29 wasn't that
bad. Some scenes are funny especially when they show the flashbacks.
It's kind of interesting how they edited the story. They managed
to include the past without messing up the viewers' imagination.
It's like you are watching two stories in one series. Even
though the ending is quite predictable, you'll still look
forward to it and be curious on how everybody would be affected.
If you are into a not too dramatic story with a slight fun,
18 vs 29 is a good show to watch.
